Chemists' Own St John's Wort 1800 can assist in the relief of the symptoms of anxiety and nervous tension, including difficulty sleeping, decreased ability to concentrate, decreased libido, inability to cope with stress, and mood swings. It can also be beneficial in the relief of the symptoms of anxiety associated with menopause and premenstrual syndrome. It contains a natural non-habit forming extract of Hypericum perforatum which has been shown in clinical trials to be an effective alternative to other modern day approaches, but with fewer side effects.
How does it work? - Research suggests that St John's Wort works by inhibiting the reuptake of the neurotransmitters serotonin, norepinephrine and dopamine.
