Zinc ComplexWhat is it for?
Chemists' Own Zinc Complex can assist in the prevention and treatment of acne, reduce the incidence of minor skin disorders including eczema and psoriasis, aid wound healing and support immune function.

Zinc is an essential mineral, and is important for healthy functioning of the sebaceous glands and helps to reduce sebum production that can lead to acne. It is also involved in many aspects of male reproductive health including the manufacture of sperm and the maintenance of healthy sperm count and prostate function.

How does it work?
- Research has shown that more than three quarters of all adolescent females and adult females 25 - 44 years have Zinc intakes below the Australian recommended dietary intake (RDI).
- Zinc requirements can be increased in the elderly, teenagers, men, heavy drinkers and during pregnancy.

Is it suitable for me?
- Not suitable for children and pregnant women.

Active ingredients
Zinc amino acid chelate (Zinc 25mg) 125mg
Magnesium amino acid chelate (Magnesium 2mg) 10mg
Magnesium phosphate (Magnesium 8.3mg) 40mg
Pyridoxine hydrochloride (Vitamin B6) 25mg
Retinyl palmitate (Vitamin A 1250IU) 688mcg

Inactive ingredients
The inactive ingredients are acacia, calcium phosphate, carnauba wax, dl-alpha-tocopherol, hydrogenated castor oil, hydrogenated soya oil, hydrolysed gelatin, lecithin, macrogol 3000, magnesium stearate, maize starch, polyvinyl alcohol, sucrose, talc and titanium dioxide.

Free from
Free from yeast, gluten, salt, dairy products, artificial colouring, flavouring, sweeteners and preservatives.

Physical description
Round biconvex tablet film coated white.

Dosage
Adults - Take one tablet daily with food or as professionally directed.

Cautions
- If symptoms persist consult your healthcare professional.
- Vitamin supplements should not replace a balanced diet.
- The recommended adult daily amount of Vitamin A from all sources is 2500IU.
- When taken in excess of 8000IU Vitamin A can cause birth defects. If you are pregnant, or considering becoming pregnant, do not take Vitamin A supplements without consulting your doctor or pharmacist.
